While Uber is available in the area, they are limited, so please plan on booking one ahead if needed! Please see the Travel tab for local cab companies. For convenience, we would recommend renting a car or carpooling with someone who will have one. If you stay in Hudson, it is doable without a car since downtown is very walkable, though you will need to arrange transportation from the airport. If you need help with carpooling, please let us know.
Yes! We’ll provide details in the Travel tab as soon as they’re available.
Yes plenty. However, if you are planning on drinking, please make sure you have a designated driver. And we would recommend using our shuttle either way - roads in the area are dark and windy, we want you to stay safe!
Cocktail attire - suits, dresses, formal jumpsuits, or dressy separates are all welcome. Color encouraged. No jeans please :)
We love the children in our lives, but due to limited space we’ve decided to keep our wedding an adults-only event except for the little ones in our wedding party.
Due to limited space, we're only able to accommodate the guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Thank you for understanding!
Albany is closest. There are direct flights from Charlotte (and many other locations) to Albany Airport, which is 45 minutes away from Hudson. From here you can drive or take an Uber/taxi (book in advance). Other options would be flying into JFK or Laguardia and driving or taking the Amtrak from Penn Station to Hudson, which would be between 2-3 hours.
Check the Travel tab for a list of options! While there are hotels in the area, Airbnbs tend to be the best option for affordability and access, and there are lots in the area! We recommend looking in Hudson, NY (top rec, will have transport provided to and from wedding!) or Germantown.
The Hudson Valley is beautiful and full of things to do! Scenic views, great hiking, restaurants, and bars. Check our “Things To Do” tab for recommendations.
