FAQs

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly request that guests do not take photos during the event. We have a professional photographer to capture every moment so we can unplug and enjoy!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love children, we are not wanting them to be loud during the ceremony. I understand that babies will cry. There is a “nursery” room if you need to leave the chapel but don’t want to miss the ceremony. If you feel like you need an extra hand with your children please let us know if they will be there.

Question

What happens if it rains?

Answer

Rain or shine, our celebration will be magical! In the event of inclement weather, we'll be comfortably situated indoors, with a brief outdoor transition to our reception area. We recommend bringing umbrellas just in case, but rest assured that nothing will dampen our spirits on our special day.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We recommend several comfortable and conveniently located hotels in Duncan for out-of-town guests. Most accommodations are similarly priced, so we suggest booking your room in advance to ensure availability during our wedding weekend.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding embraces a semi-formal dress code with a charming spring aesthetic. Gentlemen can choose between tailored slacks or well-fitted jeans, complemented by dress shoes or polished boots. A crisp button-down or stylish pearl snap shirt will complete the look. Ladies are invited to wear a lovely dress or an elegant ensemble of dress pants and a sophisticated blouse. Please do not wear a polo shirt or a Magellan shirt.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Yes, you are welcome to bring a guest! When you RSVP, simply indicate your plus one's attendance. Please note that this option is only available for invitations that specifically include a guest.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend arriving at the ceremony venue between 5:00 and 5:15 PM. This will allow you ample time to find your seat comfortably and ensure our ceremony begins precisely at 5:30 PM. Feel free to mingle and enjoy the pre-ceremony atmosphere as you settle in.

Question

How should I RSVP?

Answer

To RSVP, go to the RSVP page on this website. Please submit your RSVP by March 15th, 2026 so we can plan accordingly!

Question

I still have questions, what is the best way to contact you?

Answer

For any questions or concerns, please feel free to text Mikayla at 5807362735.

Question

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Our wedding will be a dry event with no alcohol served. We will have a variety of non-alcoholic beverages available.

Question

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

Yes, we have a wedding registry! You can find all the details on the Registry page of our website!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, parking is available at the our church venue.. Guests with handicap accessible and those needing additional mobility support may park directly alongside the building for easy front entrance access. All other guests can utilize our east and north parking lots, which are located across the street from the entrance. Please note you'll need to cross carefully to the main entrance.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to the nature of our catering, we are unable to accommodate individual food allergies or dietary restrictions.

Question

For our youngest guests

Answer

We've thoughtfully prepared for our littlest guests to ensure they have a comfortable and enjoyable experience. We kindly ask parents to help their young children rest before arriving, which will help keep them happy and energetic during the celebration. Since the church does not provide high chairs, we request that parents bring an appropriate seating option for their little ones. To accommodate young children's schedules, our reception will conclude at 9:00 PM, helping to maintain their routine. We understand that young children can have big emotions, and we are committed to creating a welcoming environment for families of all ages.
