Rosario Islands
These islands are a quick boat trip away from Cartagena and are beautiful. If you want to check them out, let us know and we can point you in the right direction for a day trip or an overnight getaway!
Medellín
Medellin is incredible! If you want to add another stop to your Colombia trip this is the place. You can also usually get more direct flights between Medellin and the states so tacking this on to either end of your trip would make sense.
Parque Nacional Natural Tayrona
A beautiful national park with hiking and beaches along the coast. You will need to either rent a car or arrange a driver from Cartagena to Santa Marta to explore this park (roughly 4 hr drive).
Walk around Cartagena’s Walled City & Getsemaní
Each of these neighborhoods is beautiful, unique and very walkable! The walls were built in 1586, and the Walled City is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Getsemaní is a slightly hipper, younger sister city located just outside the walls.
