Welcome to our wedding!

Nearly 10 years ago, they met one another at UT Arlington thanks to a mutual friend, Jonn Walker, who knew they would be perfect for one another. Kandrea was interested in Colin, but she wanted to know he would fight for her love, and so he did. He pursued her for several weeks, talking to one another online at length, getting to know what makes her laugh and what makes her feel appreciated. He knew he wanted her, and she knew he would work hard for their relationship. Once dating, they enjoyed every experience the world had to offer them. Traveling together, going to ACL and SXSW every year, taking cruises, seeing comedians, and always willing to invest their time and energy into what made them happiest together. They moved to Austin, to New York, and to Colorado, never afraid to face new experiences and new challenges, knowing they could always lean on one another and adapt to whatever life threw their way.

Colin, knowing her love for travel and her strong connection to the ocean, knew that a cruise would be the right place to ask her the big question. They planned the trip, got on the ship, and before she woke up, he searched high and low for the perfect spot. He made sure that even in the middle of the Pacific, their mothers would get to share the moment with them, so as they walked onto the deck, he pulled out his phone to show her the video chat with them. At sunset, they turned the corner and the photographer was waiting to capture the moment. Confused, excited, and smiling through tears, she knew as he got down on one knee that their life together was truly about to start.
