The biggest mall you can imagine, with every activity ever inside - amusement park, water park, mini-golf, 7D simulators, and even a ski/snowboard hill!
We highly recommend checking out a Broadway show in New York. Each show is held in an elaborate, themed theatre dedicated to it, unlike the touring versions like Broadway Across Canada. We have attended Harry Potter and the Cursed Child together, and Lidia has attended Aladdin and The Lion King in the past, and they were all incredible.
Take a day on the town and check out Central Park and the Statue of Liberty (via ferry or cruise) during the day and the lit up Times Square at night!
A historic Victorian seaside town known for its unique architecture and boardwalk, with restaurants, ice cream shops, and a beautiful beach view at sunset!
We highly recommend saving a day to drive out to the Sight & Sound Theatres in Lancaster, PA (2.5 hour drive) to watch the annual theatrical performance (which this year is on the biblical character of Joshua) and check out the Amish communities and food in the surrounding area. Every year, this theatre picks one bible character and acts out their whole story in a very elaborate and immersive set (180° stage, i.e. side views in addition to front view), and they work so hard to prepare it that they spend a whole year performing it. It's an experience and one of those things that if you're flying all the way out east it's worth it to see. We saw Daniel and Noah and they were both incredible. Also, you can explore nearby Amish towns or eat at Amish restaurants and get to meet real Amish people that serve you the food. Tickets for this sell out FAST (from now for April) so it would be best to check the website calendar to help determine dates first.
For the kids - or rollercoaster-loving adults like Lidia.
A unique, multi-sensory observation deck in New York located atop the One Vanderbilt skyscraper, with beautiful city views through mirrored rooms, glass floors (Levitation), and an outdoor terrace - an immersive experience!
