Opposites attract but birds of the same feather flock together. Lidia and Rob meet 3 years ago when Lidia decided to become a dental patient of Dr. Eye's at his dental practice, Exceptional Smiles Family Dentistry, in Harrisonburg, Virginia. They didn't start dating right away, but one day Rob asked Lidia to go on a date. Their first date was hiking Blackwater Falls in the Shenandoah National Park. Rob is a planner and Lidia is a free spirit. Their was an instant connection, a life connection that has lead them to be together ever sense. Lidia is kind, gentle soul and Rob is nonsense businessman who is competitive with himself in nature. They both have taught each other a lot about themselves covering their blind spots in life to emerge a Team. Both have learned a lot along the away about compassion, patience and true loyalty and trust is in a relationship. It was a natural progression to meet each other's family and ask for each family's blessing to get married. They put the the love for The Lord and the other person first will to work together to communicate and workout differences as they have long term perspective. It is our hope that our relationship can serve as an example of what a life long loving marriage can be--fun!
