Josh said he first fell for me when he heard me sing "Killing Me Softly" in our 8th grade talent show. We grew up going to school together since Jr. High with the same friends but one bubble off from each other all the time. It wasn't until we both lived the hard parts of our life that we were brought together in perfection when we needed each other the most .... 15 years later he reached out to me after my car accident. He said he would be so mad at himself if he didn't ask the girl that he has had "the biggest crush on since Jr. High" to finally go out on a date with him. I of course said yes. Still in my sling, he took me on our first date. We were inseparable ever since. He helped me through my rehab, would take me kayaking and paddle for us when I couldn't. We have gone on countless adventures together. Camping on the Ho River, under the full moon, I was playing my guitar next to the campfire with my eyes closed. Josh got down on one knee and told me to open my eyes as I was singing a song about love, dusk and summer. He asked "Will you be my best friend forever, will you marry me?" Of course I said YES!!!!
