Our story began in elementary school. Logan was my twin brother’s best friend, which basically made him off-limits… until it didn’t. Life took us in different directions when I moved away and we lost touch. Ten years later we reconnected and it felt like no time had passed at all. Our first date wasn’t your typical dinner and a movie. Instead, we spent the night cruising back roads, talking for hours, and laughing until our cheeks hurt. That night set the tone for everything that followed. Easy, natural, and full of connection. Since then, we made long distance work, me in Fort Worth, him in Tulia. We learned the rhythm of weekend road trips, late-night phone calls, and counting down the days until our next visit. Hundreds of miles (and thousands of phones calls) later, we built a relationship grounded in patience, trust, and so much love. It wasn’t always easy, but it was always worth it. We found ways to make the distance feel smaller and quick visits into lifelong memories. Family has always been at the center of who we are, and they’ve supported us through every mile and every milestone. Now, surrounded by the people we love, we’re finally getting to start this next chapter, just one home, one future, and one love that’s been years in the making.
