Camelback Mountain Hike
A fun hike in the valley that involves a bit of scrambling over rocks to get to a beautiful 360 degree view of Phoenix.
Lux Central
Coffee shop lover? Lux is your stop. This cool, hipster vibe serves great coffee and food all day.
Piestewa Peak Summit Trail
Another fun hike right in the valley! This area has several different trails of varying difficulty. If you do want to summit Piestewa, give yourself 4 hours for the whole hike (up and back). It's also highly trafficked, so head out early to beat the crowds!
Murphy Bridle Path
For my runners! This is a nice running trail in central phoenix along Central that is covered in trees. Easy access and close to everything for an urban run.
Flower Child
Need some 'quick,' healthy but GOOD food? Flower child is a favorite in Phoenix. Tons of different options, all tasty.
The Yard
Great place to eat with a variety of games to play with friends. Corn-hole, ping-pong, shuffle board and a free photo booth! I highly recommend sharing the pretzels with beer cheese appetizer. :) This restaurant is also close to several other great places to eat within the block.
