If you like lavender, this place is amazing! There is a farm, wine tastings, and a beautiful scenic view for leisurely evenings. The gift shop smells amazing and has a wonderful array of lavender items!

Grand Caverns

This awesome experience is right down the road from our little apartment. It has mini golf, walking trails, and a cave tour that is full of historic sights. Be sure to wear good shoes and check out the website for cave tour times and information!

Shenandoah Heritage Market

This place has lots of interesting shops, including a café and antiques. However, it is closed on Sundays, but if you are in from out of town and staying through the weekend or longer, it's a cool place to check out!

Staunton

Staunton is a nearby small city with TONS of options for food and entertainment. If you're around on the weekend, we love the shop and dine out in downtown Staunton, where there are streets closed to traffic, and you can catch outdoor dining and live music!

Stable Craft Brewing & Cidery

We've been here on a date to see a jazz band called Savvy! The food and atmosphere was pretty good, and they have a great selection of brews on tap if that's your thing!
