Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you receive the invitation. Thank you for your understanding!
There will be a trolley service bringing guests to and from our room block at The Wayfinder Hotel and Belle Mer. There is also parking available at our venue if you would like to drive. Cars can be picked up the next day. As Newport is a destination location, Uber and Lyft ride shares are also options.
Welcome Party: We would love our guests to come in Cocktail Attire! The welcome party is outdoors so please dress accordingly as Newport can get chilly in the evening. Wedding: We ask that our guests wear Coastal Formal. This includes floor length and midi length dresses for ladies and the gentlemen can wear tuxedos or suit and tie. Please refrain from wearing shades of white or red. Post-wedding Brunch: In the spirit of the International Tennis Hall of Fame requiring all players to wear all white, we are asking the same for our guests (khaki is allowed as well).
Yes! We plan to have the ceremony outside, weather permitting. Ladies, we recommend opting for a chunky heel or wedges for comfort and ease of walking on the grass and seashell paths.
Welcome Party: Newport Transportation Center Garage - Paid Parking Thames Street - Pay Station Parking Wayfinder Shuttle: The Wayfinder offers shuttle service to Bowen’s Wharf every 30 minutes until 10:00 PM. The Royce is approximately a 5-minute walk from Bowen’s Wharf. Guests returning after 10:00 PM may wish to use Uber or Lyft. Wedding Trolley Schedule: For your convenience, a trolley service will be provided between the Wayfinder and Belle Mer before and after the wedding. Departing the Wayfinder for Belle Mer • 5:20 PM • 5:45 PM Departing Belle Mer for the Wayfinder • 10:30 PM • 11:00 PM • 11:30 PM Guests are also welcome to park at Belle Mer and leave their vehicles overnight. Cars may be picked up the following day.
