We're getting married!

It all started on October 13th, 2023, at a cozy little coffee shop called Roast. Katie’s Aunt Meg had been playing matchmaker and insisted that Katie meet her friend Chris — and, as it turns out, Aunt Meg has an incredible eye for love. The moment they met, something just clicked. Katie thought Chris was absolutely adorable, and Chris couldn’t stop thinking that Katie was the prettiest person he’d ever seen. What began as a casual introduction quickly turned into a conversation that neither of them wanted to end. Their first date came soon after, at Skinny Bones Pumpkin Patch, the perfect autumn backdrop for something special. Between laughter, pumpkins, and the smell of cinnamon in the air, Chris surprised Katie with a pumpkin-scented candle — a sweet little gift that made her heart melt (and still makes the house smell like their beginning). From that day on, Chris and Katie were inseparable. They spent every moment they could together — hiking trails, taking long walks, getting lost in good shows, and sharing quiet evenings reading side by side. On May 17th, 2025, Chris took their love story to the next chapter when he proposed to Katie — a moment filled with the certainty that they were exactly where they were meant to be. By July of 2025, they took the next step and moved into their first home together. Now, surrounded by love, laughter, and probably a few pumpkin candles, they’re building a beautiful life — one adventure, one cozy evening, and one shared smile at a time. It all began with a cup of coffee, a kind aunt, and a little spark that’s grown into the sweetest love story — theirs.
