How should I get there?

Answer

We strongly encourage taking an Uber/Lyft and public transit. California CTA Blue Line is a 3 min walk away. Please plan for extra time if you are traveling by car and using I-90E into Chicago because there is road construction and two lanes are closed.

What's with all the Mexican flags and people driving around with them?

Answer

It is Mexican Independence Day on Sunday September 15th. There will be a parade in Little Village and a festival at Grant Park downtown. Chicago has a large Mexican population and each year they like to celebrate and can be loud and drive around with flags. Do not be alarmed. This is normal especially around Logan Square where a lot of Mexican people live.

Is there parking?

Answer

There is no off-street parking available. There is 2-hour paid street parking nearby the venue but not recommended. Occasionally you might find free parking on California Ave south of Milwaukee Ave and side streets, check for signs to make sure it's not permit parking. What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Please arrive to the venue by 5:00PM. Ceremony will start promptly at 5:15pm.

Cocktail wedding attire. Formal optional.

Yes. There is an elevator available.
