Question

What measures are being taken to prevent the spread of COVID-19?

Answer

Holy Cross Church and the Blue Heron are taking extra measures to keep our guests safe with more frequent sanitization, social distancing, and mandatory face coverings. During the ceremony, guests will be required to wear face masks and are encouraged to sit with their immediate family and those at low risk. Guests will be able to maintain their distance from others by leaving pews empty in between small groups. The Blue Heron staff will be wearing masks and gloves at all times. During dinner, guests will be seated in small groups with the tables adequately spaced to allow for social distancing. The rest of the reception will be held outdoors and the patio will be covered in case of inclement weather. In addition, we ask that all guests act responsibly and do their part to stop the spread of the virus. Anyone experiencing symptoms or who has been exposed to the virus must stay home. If a guest needs to change their RSVP, we completely understand, and kindly ask that you let us know.

We respectfully request no children under 16 at the reception. Although we love your little ones, this is an adult-only affair.

Please mail your response before August 19. Any replies received after September 1 can not be accommodated.

Comfort Inn & Suites Holiday Inn & Express Home 2 Suites by Hilton *Air B&B and VBRO rentals may be better suited for groups staying over the weekend. *
