We’re getting married!

All good things start with a friendship. Vince and Kamryn’s story is no exception. They were their most true selves because a friendship was all they cared for… Back in the Summer of 2021, in a quaint shore town known as Cape May, a police officer was relentlessly heckled by a few out-of-towner best friends who had just begun working in a store on the Washington Street Mall. As luck would have it, they had moved in above one of the shops so Officer Short was stuck with them for the duration. Thankfully, he has a good sense of humor and found them, their roommates, and their heckling, hilarious. Thus began a small group of “Summer local” friends who spend exorbitant amounts of time at (or outside of) the beautiful (based on the eye of the beholder) establishment of Carney’s (it’s a bar). They jumped in a few fountains, dodged the never-ending sea of tourists, and spent way too much time laughing together. It was only as Kamryn prepared for her move back home to Florida before starting her career in Atlanta, GA that Vince realized he was running out of time. With less than two weeks before her move, he finally asked her out! XXX Vince and Kamryn here! We’ll save you all of the details of our conversations about how dating wouldn’t make any sense because we would be jumping into a long-distance relationship and so on. Thankfully, we came to our senses. It was so clear, even from our first date, that we had found our partner. And conversations buried in laughter confirmed that it was worth a try. What a blessing that we listened to our hearts and our laughter more than our nervousness to tackle two years apart! This third year sharing a home and a life in Pennsylvania has been full of joy, tackling new obstacles together and rooting for one another all along the way. It’s given us endless confidence in each other, in our love and, above all else, in our friendship.
