Our story started in 2019 with a simple moment—making eye contact across a crowded bar and thinking the same thing: wow, they’re cute. Soon after, he messaged on Instagram and we started talking…until he dropped the news that he’d be deployed for a year starting the very next month. The timing seemed impossible, so we wished each other well and went our separate ways. But while he was deployed in Kuwait, we couldn’t quite forget about each other. In 2020 we reconnected, talked nonstop while he finished his deployment, and when he came home we’ve been inseparable ever since. He proposed on October 11, 2025, and in true “us” fashion, three days later we already had our venue and wedding date booked. Now we’re counting down the days until October 3, 2026!
