We are going to Jamaica! If you are unable to attend, DONT worry! Please RVSP for our blessing ceremony Nov. 15, 2025.
We met at Bluegreen Vacations in New Orleans, LA. I had just started working there about a month earlier when my coworkers began saying, “Kamille and Saint might be coming back to work here!” Everyone seemed excited, especially about Kamille. They kept telling me, “Oh Sean, you’re going to LOVE Kamille! She’s amazing, and your personalities are so alike!” The moment we met, we clicked instantly as friends. I always tell Kamille that there was something in her eyes that day—a little twinkle that told me she was “The One.” As I spent more time around her, she began checking off everything on my “Things You Look for in a Wife” list. Unsure of what to do, I prayed: “Lord, should I let this pass or make a move?” And I felt God whisper, “Go ahead.” With my playful personality, Kamille never took me seriously when I would joke that she was my soulmate. We became inseparable—me, Kamille, and Saint—best friends every day. Then came the Bluegreen Halloween Party. While taking a photo together, I looked into her eyes and felt something deeper, almost like we were speaking without words. I blushed like a kid but tried to play it cool, not wanting to make things awkward if she didn’t feel the same. But maybe I played it a little too cool—I accidentally friend-zoned myself. I confessed my feelings, but she thought I was joking again. It wasn’t until her birthday party that I finally worked up the courage to truly make my move. From there, our love grew through a year of long-distance between Texas and California. FaceTime became our lifeline—we were on video calls day and night, no matter where we were or who we were with, the phone was always close by. On September 11, 2023, we moved into our first apartment together. Then, on September 25, 2024, I made it official. And as the song goes (cues Wale ft. Usher – “The Matrimony”): “I’ve been making plans, making plans for us…”
