Question

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

In order to keep our wedding as intimate as possible, only the guests formally invited on your wedding invitation will be accommodated. If you receive a plus one they will appear when you RSVP.

Question

What date should I RSVP by?

Answer

June 1st, 2025. Don’t make me hunt you down after this date!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi formal. We would love to see you in light summer colors.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

We have decided to make our wedding an adults-only celebration. We hope you understand and we look forward to celebrating with you soon!

Question

Are the ceremony and reception at the same venues?

Answer

Yes, everything will be at the same venue!

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, when you arrive at the venue, you will see the large parking lot. Guests can leave their car overnight if too needed. **ALL CARS MUST BE PICKED UP BY 10AM THE FOLLOWING MORNING**

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will promptly start at 5:00pm. We ask everyone to arrive no later than 4:30pm so that we can start on time. We don’t want you to walk down the aisle with the bride!!

Question

Will our wedding be indoor or outdoor?

Answer

BOTH! The ceremony will be outdoor (trees for shade) and the reception will be indoor

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, the drinks are on us, but the hangover is on you! So get ready to have a great time celebrating the Gouveia’s <3

Question

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is a gift itself, but if you feel inclined to give, please see our “Registry” tab on this website.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We have an “unplugged” ceremony. This means we are asking that ALL phones and devices are put away and on silent/turned off during the ceremony. There will be photographers and videographers there to capture this moment for us. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you’d like!
