Question

What does an "unplugged ceremony" mean?

Answer

It means that we want everyone there to enjoy being in the moment! We've hired a wonderful photographer who will capture every moment of the ceremony. We'd love to have our final product be photographs without cellphones in the background. But once the ceremony is over, whip out those cell phones and snap away!

Question

Can I bring someone with me who isn't on my invitation?

Answer

The capacity for our venue is extremely limited. We have planned this evening for the specified number that is on your invitation, and cannot accommodate any additional guests.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your kids—we really do. But we would prefer for our wedding to be your night off. We are also extremely limited in capacity, and therefore are having an adult-only celebration.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes! There is a parking lot behind Krohn Conservatory, as well as street parking in front. Your car can be left in their parking lot overnight in the event you need to Uber home after the celebration!

Question

I'm coming from out of town, do you think I need to rent a car?

Answer

Frankly, no. You would be perfectly fine without renting a car, and we'd recommend you don't. Downtown Cincinnati (Over-The-Rhine a.k.a. OTR and The Banks) are highly walkable. There's also the Cincinnati Bell Connector which serves as free transportation within a four mile radius. Cincinnati has a RedBike Bike Share program for as low as $3 a trip. Cincinnati also has Uber/Lyft services and Bird Rental Scooters. It will cost you approximately $30 to Uber from the airport to the hotel. You would be able to utilize the Bell Connector, RedBike, Uber/Lyft, Bird scooters, and/or walking for transportation around Cincinnati for far less than it would cost you to rent a car, pay for gas, pay for valet parking at the hotel(s) and parking throughout downtown garage and street meters.

Question

We're happy for you and all, but I gotta ask, what's the situation with alcohol?

Answer

All you need is love, and an OPEN bar! Krohn Conservatory is part of the Cincinnati Parks Foundation. As a result, outside alcohol is not permitted. Please do not bring your own alcohol, as it will cost us a hefty fine, and on-site security may opt to remove you at their discretion.
