Our Adventure Begins

Nick and Kami met at his property one night for him to show her one of his mobile homes for her to rent. Kami can never forget the first thing Nick said to her making her laugh and blush and how strong the chemistry between the two of them was (even if she tried denying it at first.) That night Kami invited Nick to go shoot pool with her and family and even though it seemed impossible to be with each other being he is 13 years older than her and has two kids, they started seeing each other October 2014. Nick and Kami's first date was at Raffino's in Lafayette and after dinner, Nick brought her meet some of his friends that today, she calls family. Nick took Kami on her first ever fishing trip to Toledo Bend for their first Valentine's Day and she knew then that she was in love with not only him but FISHING! They both have struggled back and forth through good times and bad BUT always made their way back to each other. Fast forward to 2020 the two of them have a four year old angel baby, River Jay and a beautiful two year old rainbow, Isabella Grace (Izzie) together. To make it even more special, Valentine's Day Nick walked in the house with a dozen roses and asked Kami to marry him! Their wedding date is special to them because for those who know, their daughter, Izzie, was born premature, six weeks early on August 31st 2018. Nick and Kami decided to keep her due date a part of their lives as best they could to remind them how truly blessed they are that Izzie is here today, giving us October 9th as the special day to celebrate the two of them! Nick and Kami couldn't imagine life any other way, They are personally living a true fairytale! Nick has made the catch of a life time and now its time to change her name!
