Once upon a time, Mason and Kami were added to the same forum on Facebook. They both knew of each other within forum conversations but finally met at The Move youth service in Jackson, TN (March 25th, 2017). Time passed and at the time, Mason was taken. On January 5th 2018 Kami decided to host a meetup, at her house in Memphis, TN, for the forum both her and Mason were apart of. That night Mason was the first to show up at her door. After an awkward selfie, Kami accidentally sitting on Mason’s lap, and Mason going with her to Target for food, so she wouldn’t be out alone at 11pm, Kami decided he was a gentleman and worthy of a “thank you” text. Mason returned the next day with the others for breakfast only to Kami’s delight. After many texts, a few phone calls, and some FaceTime sessions she told him that she was coming to Jackson for a LuLaRoe transaction (January 15th, 2018). Mason suggested that they should go get some food while she was there. Little did Kami realize that would be their first date. As a nervous couple, they went to Panda Express unsure of what this would become. After Panda Express they went to Point Blank Shooting Range, this was a great way for Kami to show her shooting abilities on their first date. Watch out Mason! On the way back to her car he said, “Your hand looks cold, may I hold it?” To his relief she said yes. Their next date was in Memphis at Belly Acres, on January 18th, where Mason asked Kami to officially be his girlfriend. Many wonderful moments have passed since which brings us to the moment that sealed their fate. On December 13th, 2019 Mason took Kami to her favorite place in the world, Opryland Hotel in Nashville, to see the lights. After a night full of fun and laughter, he took her to the jewel gazebo, got down on one knee, and confessed his undying love.
