Question

COVID-19 Information continued

Answer

VIRGINIA CLIFFE INN ACTIONS Outdoor areas generally require normal routine cleaning and do not require disinfection. Spraying disinfectant on sidewalks and in parks is not an efficient use of disinfectant supplies and has not been proven to reduce the risk of COVID-19 to the public. We are maintaining existing cleaning and hygiene practices for outdoor areas. The virus cannot live on surfaces that have been unoccupied for 7 days or more, and only normal routine cleaning is required to reopen the area. This is because the virus that causes COVID-19 has not been shown to survive on surfaces longer than this time.

Answer

Prior to and during an event we will perform the following actions:  Routinely clean and disinfect surfaces and objects that are frequently touched, including doorknobs, door handles, restrooms, shelves and other surfaces.  Assign dedicated employee to wipe down shared surfaces with sanitizer and paper towels in the cottage during an event.  Assign extra staff to allow for frequent bathroom disinfecting.  Our staff will wear logo black shirts. Anyone that may become ill should self-identify immediately to our staff. We will provide them with a disposable mask and ask them to leave immediately. Note: Providing a guest with a disposable facemask to wear does not replace the need for that person to leave immediately.
