This is our FAVORITE coffee shop ever!! Not only is the coffee AMAZING but they have the BEST pastries! Our go to is a Oat milk Cappuccino (hot or iced) with cinnamon!
Harbor Cove Cafe
This is our GO TO breakfast!! We LOVE their breakfast burritos!! Kameron always gets the bacon burrito with jalapeños while Lezly does the same minus the jalapeños :). Not only is it the Yummiest but it also offers the coolest view of all the boats and located directly behind the beach!
Lure Fish House
If you are looking for high end dining while you are here, this is the place to go! Lezly works here as well as her future sister in law Shay in the scottsdale location! This is the only place Lezly actually eats seafood from as well as being the number one restaurant in the county! If it is in season the best thing to order is the Halibut with Brussel sprouts, and a Parmesan potato cake for the sides!
Palermo
Another favorite for coffee! They have the best Chai lattes to choose from! Get some coffee or gelato and take a walk around downtown!
Rice by Mama
This Thai food is our favorite when it comes to getting the yummiest meal that we can actually both split!! Our favorite is the Chicken Pad Thai and the Chicken Pad Siew!
Finney's Crafthouse & Kitchen - Ventura
Looking for yummy drinks and an AMAZING meal! Look no further! This is our new dinner favorite! We LOVE the prosciutto and arugula flat bread, truffle burger, and the chicken and waffle starter! Their drinks are amazing as well! Especially if they have the seasonal hibiscus hard kombucha on tap!
The Cross
This is the perfect place to take your lunch or dinner to go! It has the most beautiful view of Ventura and a cute little grass patch to eat on!
Spencer Makenzie's
This is the Quitno's FAVORITE spot to visit when they are in town! Not only is it an out of town best but it is a local go to as well! They have the best fish tacos and burritos around! Kirk and Karen Quitno recommend the "fish and shrimp burrito" and the "clam chowder." Kameron says the big business is his favorite! Also there is a bridge behind here that goes over the freeway, to the pier boardwalk, so you can eat your food at Spencer Mackenzie's then head over for a walk along the water!
Hikes around Ventura County
This time of year there will be the most beautiful hikes around! Especially if you drive 30min North towards Carpentaria and Santa Barbara or a little South towards Malibu! Lezly recommends downloading the "All Trails" app. This app allows you to choose exactly what area you want to go hiking, what type of scenery you want and how long or hard you want it to be! If you can't go ahead and ask away and we will give you our favorites!
