RSVPs are due by August 30th, and if possible I will reach out the week after if I don't have yours to see if you are coming or not. Do not feel obligated just because we are family or friends; if you can't make it for one reason or another I do not mind at all. I included a physical RSVP but there is also a QR code on the back that brings you to the RSVP on our website.
I wrote all plus ones as a guest on your invitation but yes, plus ones are allowed. Families are included with all their children so if you're not bringing children do make sure to just note they are not coming. Thanks!
Each hotel is about a 10-20 minute uber from the venue. We are having both ceremony and reception at the same location, for the ease of everyone. I would definitely encourage ubering, as the venue has very limited parking.
No. Neither the ceremony nor reception will have assigned seating. There will be places reserved for immediate family but otherwise please mingle to your hearts content!
Photos are more then welcome to be taken, though we do ask you refrain during the ceremony. We have hired a photographer and would love to get an uninterrupted view of the ceremony if possible; after that it is more than welcome to take as many photos as you like.
Yes. We have to be out of the venue by 11pm at the latest so all should vacate around 10:30-10:45 so we can finish cleaning up and putting things away.
Gerogia weather is certainly volatile but normally October is drier but on the warmer side. Nowhere near as hot as summer time but still easily 80 degrees in the morning and normally much cooler at night.
Georgia weather tends to still be on the warmer side in Octobter so acknowledge that. Think just upscale casual. Cute dresses, shorts are welcome so long as they look nice, cute skirts and shirts. Cocktail/summer cocktail attire is appropriate.
Food will be buffet style, with 3 proteins and 3 sides. There will be attendents at the buffet, as well as a few staff making rounds to keep all tables clean/ready. All plates and silver will be throwaway. The water glasses will be real glass however and we will have a serve yourself tea/lemonade station. Dinner is currently set to start at 6:30/7, and will likely close at 8:30/9pm.
There will be an open bar, with a little set menu to choose from but also a list of liqour and mixers to go along with it. There will be a tip jar available for the bartender, so please do take care of them!
