What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail Attire: We suggest that men wear a suit and women wear a dress (cocktail, midi, or full-length) or a nice pantsuit. Women should not wear any white.

Can I bring a date or my kids?

Answer

Unfortunately, we cannot allow additional plus-ones or kids at our wedding. The name of every guest invited to attend is clearly listed on your invitation, and no additional guests can be accommodated.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! There will be transportation to and from both the Robey and Hyatt Place. From The Robey to wedding 4:30pm From Hyatt Place to wedding 4:30pm From wedding to hotels 10:00pm - 12:00am *shuttle will leave every 30 minutes

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Yes! Fairlie has a parking lot across the street, and there is ample street parking as well.

Both the ceremony and reception will be held indoors.

How do I get to the hotel from the airport?

Answer

Whether you're flying into Midway or O’Hare, getting to Wicker Park is simple by train or car. From O’Hare International Airport (ORD): Take the Blue Line CTA train from O’Hare station (located inside the airport) toward Forest Park. - The Robey: Get off at Damen. The hotel is just steps away from the station. - Hyatt Place Wicker Park: Get off at Division. The hotel is about a 13-minute walk from the station. From Midway International Airport (MDW): Take the Orange Line from Midway station toward the Loop. At Clark/Lake, transfer to the Blue Line toward O’Hare. - The Robey: Get off at Damen, just steps away from the hotel. - Hyatt Place Wicker Park: Get off at Division and walk about 13 minutes to the hotel. Prefer not to take the train? Rideshares, taxis, and rental cars are available at both airports.
