What time should I arrive?

We recommend that you arrive 15 mins before or exactly on the start time on the invite and we can get the party started as scheduled!

Do you have any recommendations for local restaurants, points of interest, or things to do?

Answer

Yes! Please see our Things to do tab. If you want a specific recommendation checkout 'Atl Bucket List' on Instagram. For something closer you can check out Duluth Downtown, Lawrenceville Downtown or Suwanee Town Center.

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly. Please note the last date to RSVP is by July 23rd. In any case you need extra time communicate with us so we can accommodate that request.

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

Here are the deeds! Khina/Sangeet: Please CARPOOL as much as you can, we have limited space but it's free! Nikkah: There is a parking lot in front of prayer hall with free parking Reception: There is a gravel parking lot at the venue once you enter the door with free parking

I have elderly with me and can't walk too much. What do I do?

Answer

No worries dude! We gotchu! For Reception you can drop them off right in front of the venue. It's on the ground level and easily accessible to the chair.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unfortunately we have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

How does the wedding weekend look like?

Answer

Thursday: 2pm: Bride and Groom Entrances 2:30pm: Ceremony start time 3pm: Brunch served and Henna starts 5pm: End of Ceremonies, Bride and Groom Exit 7pm: Bride and Groom Entrance and Dances 8pm: Dinner Served 9pm: Singing and Dancing Friday: 10am: Groom picks Bride from her house 11:30pm:Arrive and Seated in Jamatkhana (Social Hall) 12pm: Nikkah Starts 5pm: Guest Arrival at Butterfly Pavilion, Hors d'oeuvres served 7pm: Bride and Groom Entrance 7:30pm: Afghan Traditional Dances and Desi Dance Performance 8pm: Cake Cutting and Speeches 8:30pm: Dinner Served 9pm: Get yourself on Dancefloor 11pm: A very sparkling Exit

Should we bring gifts on the day, or send them ahead of time?

Answer

As space at the venue is limited, there won't be a table for gifts on the day. So we request that you make use of our registry we curated on the 'Registry' tab on this website.
