Brandon and I are both from the Waco area and somehow spent years surrounded by mutual friends without ever crossing paths. I went to West High School, and he went to China Spring. After high school, Brandon headed to Lubbock, where he spent five years attending Texas Tech. When he finally moved back home, it was really only a matter of time before our paths crossed. We both frequented Fuzzy’s Taco Shop with our friend groups, often at the same time without realizing it. One night, Brandon caught my eye—and as it turns out, I had caught his many times before. Right as he was about to close his tab and head out, I finally worked up the courage to make the first move and say hi. From that night on, we were inseparable. A couple of months later, we officially started dating, and now—almost five years later—we’re getting married. 🤍
