Our Story
Daryan and Kamara’s love story began at the University of Central Oklahoma, where they met through a mutual friend. Their first date was at Fuzzy’s Tacos, a simple yet unforgettable evening where sparks began to fly. As they spent more time together, their connection grew deeper. On November 12, 2020, Kamara asked Daryan to be his girlfriend—a moment that marked the beautiful beginning of their journey together.
Two years later, Kamara followed his dreams to Hampton University in Virginia, and together they faced the challenges of a long-distance relationship with unwavering love and commitment. Despite the miles between them, their bond only grew stronger.
Then, on a magical family vacation to Jamaica, surrounded by the beauty of the island and the warmth of loved ones, Kamara got down on one knee and asked the question that would change their lives forever: “Will you marry me?” With a bright smile and a heart full of love, Daryan said yes on December 27, 2023.
