We’re Getting Married!

We met in April 2021 through Hinge, and soon after, planned our first date at a Mexican restaurant in Coral Gables. Dennis chose the location and made a two-hour drive just to meet Kamaly, while she only had to go a few minutes down the road. We sat outside, enjoying the fresh air and conversation that flowed so naturally, we didn’t even notice our waiter hadn’t come for nearly an hour. Several dates, meeting each other’s friends, and growing closer with every moment later… came July 24th. That was the day Dennis said “I love you” for the first time. Since then, we’ve shared a home, raised our fur babies Kobe and Brady, and made countless memories—from cheering on our favorite teams to quiet nights dancing together in the kitchen. On February 15, 2025, Valentine’s Day weekend, Dennis proposed on a sailboat in St. Augustine while our song, “Could It Be I’m Falling in Love” by The Spinners, played in the background. Kamaly, in between tears, said yes. Now, we’re returning to the city where we chose forever to celebrate our courthouse wedding with the people who mean the most to us.
