Chris and Erin owe their journey to COVID-19. Yes, weird, but we never would have been on Tinder if we weren't so bored during a quarantine, right? Chris messaged Erin first and thank gosh for that! She never would have made the move. After texting all day for a few weeks, FaceTime calls, and tons of Snapchats, Chris finally asked Erin to hangout. Erin agreed without a doubt in her mind. Chris and Erin lived about 45 minutes away from each other so Chris found a spot to meet that was halfway. Well, that spot turned out to be the Vince Lombardi Park & Ride off I-95. Neither knew the rest stop was shut down so once arriving, they realized it was a pretty sketchy place to first meet someone. Even then Erin hopped out of her car and got right into Chris's! One thing lead to another; Chris and Erin spent as much time together that they possibly could [countless drives back and forth from Montvale, NJ to Staten Island, NY]. They went on vacations together, with friends and family and made many memories they will always cherish.
Chris got down on one knee and proposed to Erin in the living room right next to the Christmas tree. Chris and Erin were home alone and shared this moment in private, exactly how Erin had always dreamt the moment would be. The two could not wait to start calling family and friends and share the good news with them!
