We met in a very modern way on Snapchat but what followed felt anything but ordinary. We had planned a simple picnic in Savannah, but the weather had other ideas. Rain rolled in, plans shifted, and Viktor spent the day dragging me all over the city while I was convinced I just wanted to go home. Still, we kept going, laughing through it all, waiting for the rain to pass. When the sky finally cleared, we made our way back to Forsyth Park. Standing there, Viktor asked if I wanted to make a wish. Of course I did. He said he wanted to go first, which earned him a little bit of attitude from me but then he told me to go ahead. Funny enough, my wish was to be engaged. When I turned around, there he was down on one knee. In that moment, everything made sense. The rain, the waiting, the wandering, all led us exactly where we were meant to be. Surrounded by love, laughter, and a little Savannah magic, we said yes to forever. Now, we can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with the people who mean the most to us.
