Our Story

The Wedding Website of Scott Donnellon and Kallie Kean
Our story began at Camp Buckner at West Point during the summer of 2020-right in the middle of COVID. Scotty was about to start his Firstie (senior) year, and Kallie was heading into her Cow (junior) year. With restrictions keeping us on post, we spent our early days together taking long walks, getting to know each other one step at a time. In September 2020, Scotty officially asked Kallie out, marking the start of an amazing five year journey, including nearly four years of long distance through military training, assignments, and everything in between. Finally, in June 2025, the Army will bring us together again when Scotty gets stationed at Fort Bliss in El Paso, Texas, making this next chapter of our lives even more special.

Kallie Kean

Bride

Hi! I’m Kallie, an AH-64 Apache pilot currently living in El Paso, Texas. I graduated from West Point, where I majored in Arabic, and have spent most of my life moving from place to place as an Army brat. Having lived in over ten different locations—ranging from Hawaii to Toronto, Canada—I've developed a deep love for exploring new places and experiencing different cultures. When I’m not flying, you can usually find me reading, traveling, or visiting museums—I’m always eager to learn something new or immerse myself in history. Whether it's a quiet afternoon with a good book or an adventure to a new city, I love making the most of every opportunity to see the world. I’m so excited to celebrate this special day with all of you and can’t wait to share a little piece of Detroit with our friends and family!

Scott Donnellon

Groom

I grew up in Emmett, Michigan, a small town about an hour outside of Detroit, and have always had a love for the outdoors and history. After high school, I attended West Point, where I studied International History, which deepened my interest in military strategy and Irish history. I’m currently serving as an Adjutant General Officer in the Army, and when I’m not working, you can usually find me lifting weights, freshwater fishing, or exploring new trails. I also love a good book, whether it’s about history, philosophy, or just something interesting I picked up along the way. I’m excited to be celebrating this special day back home in Michigan and can’t wait to share it with all of you!
