Kallen and Ashley became friends in November of 2017. Kallen was living in Okoboji, working for WIC, and didn't have many friends. One day, she was reading an article on the new naturalist at the Dickinson County Nature Center - Ashley Hansen. While reading the article Kallen couldn't help but think "Wow - she seems pretty cool. And since she's new here, she may also be in need of some friends." Kallen found her on Facebook, added her as a friend, and send her a message asking to hang out! The rest is history! Kallen and Ashley first met Eric in passing on multiple occasions at Winter Games Locals Night and the Bedell YMCA. It wasn't until the first Lakes Area Young Professionals meeting where a formal introduction was done. Eric is the Director of the Okoboji United Methodist Camp.
