FAQs

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive to be seated by 2:45 p.m. The nuptial mass begins promptly at 3:00 p.m.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up with us! The dress code is semi-formal attire for our wedding. The only ask is to refrain from wearing white or off-white colors.

Question

Can I bring a guest that is not noted on the invitation?

Answer

If you received a plus one, this will appear under your name when you RSVP. Please ensure that you are RSVPing for both yourself and your guest. Due to limited capacity, we can only accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, this is strictly an adults-only occasion (with an exception to our nieces and nephews in the wedding). We hope you understand and can enjoy the night off! We can't wait to celebrate with you!

Question

Is there parking available at the church & venue?

Answer

Yes! Both Saint Francis Xavier and the Firefly Pavilion at Morton Arboretum have their own designated parking lots that our guests can utilize.

Question

Where do I go once I get to the venue?

Answer

When you arrive at the Morton Arboretum, please tell the gatehouse attendant that you are there for the Kalkowski-Langhenry wedding. They will direct you to the Firefly Pavilion.

Question

Do I need to stay in the designated room block?

Answer

Definitely not! While the Hyatt Regency Lisle is the closest in proximity to the Morton Arboretum, there are plenty of other hotels nearby with rooms available at different price points. Feel free to stay wherever works best for you! Please note, transportation will only be provided to the Hyatt Regency Lisle from Morton Arboretum.

Question

Is there a shuttle available to the hotel?

Answer

For those guests staying at the Hyatt Regency Lisle, there will be a shuttle service available to take you back to the hotel at the end of the night. Announcements will be made when the shuttles will depart.
