Where will the ceremony be held?

Answer

St. Paul's Catholic Church 1800 12th St N, St. Petersburg, FL 33704 Ceremony starts at 1 p.m. We suggest you be at the Church by 12:45 p.m. to get situated.

Where will cocktail hour & the reception be held?

Answer

Davis Islands Garden Club 81 Columbia Dr, Tampa, FL 33606 Cocktail Hour starts at 3 p.m. The Reception will start right after at 4 p.m.

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

We'd love to see our friends and family dress up with us! We are requesting elegant semi-formal/cocktail attire. Think cocktail dresses or a suit and tie or a sports coat. Please no t-shirts, flip flops, or casual wear. Please also refrain from wearing shades of white, full black on black or champagne as those are the colors reserved for the bridal party. Please keep in mind that the reception will be held outdoors and on grass.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Florida is usually still pretty warm around this time of year but does get chilly at night so plan for 70's during the day and 60's at night!

I'm flying in, how do I get to my hotel from the airport?

Answer

If you are flying into Tampa International Airport, it is very close to most hotels and our venues so an Uber ride is a quick and easy option. Some hotels also offer free pick up/drop off shuttle services to and from the airport. We suggest checking with your hotel.

How do I get to the wedding venues?

Answer

The Reception venue is about a 20-25 minute drive from the Church depending on traffic. You are welcome to rent your own vehicle, carpool, or use a service such as Uber if you prefer. We will also have transportation for those who need it.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The Ceremony will be indoors. Cocktail hour and the Reception will be outdoors on the water, however, there will be an indoor area to utilize as well. In case of rain, the event will be moved fully indoors.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, guests can head straight to the reception, where we will be serving appetizers and beverages during a cocktail hour. We will also be attending cocktail hour taking photos!

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

Yes. There is a parking lot at both venues.

Question

When do you suggest I arrive? Will there be any additional events related to the wedding?

Answer

We suggest you arrive into Tampa Thursday night, November 13th, so you can get settled in and get some sleep before the big day. We will be having a ceremony, cocktail hour and reception on Friday until 10 p.m. After that, your time is yours!

Where do you recommend I stay? Do you have a hotel block?

Answer

We have a room block reserved at the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay. Please checkout the "Travel" tab of this website for more information. If you choose to book your own hotel, there are tons in the area to choose from.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited capacity, we are unable to accommodate plus ones unless specifically indicated on your envelope or under the RSVP tab. If there is a "guest" option by your name when you RSVP, please fill in your guest's information as well as their meal preference. We thank you for understanding!

Can I bring extra family members?

Answer

To stay within our guest limit, we can only accommodate friends/family that we have personally invited. If you have received an invite from us, we are inviting everyone in your immediate family that lives in your household (which is traditionally husband/wife, and kids). We appreciate your understanding and if you have any further questions please feel free to reach out to us!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes, your kiddos are invited! However, if you prefer to have a date night without, that's fine as well! We just ask that you specify each person from your immediate family that will be attending on your RSVP. Please keep in mind that the reception will be by the water.

Will there be food?

Yes! We will be serving appetizers during cocktail hour, and we will have a plated service during the reception. You may choose your food options when you RSVP. We will also have late night snacks and a dessert table!

Answer

Yes. There will be an open bar during cocktail hour and the reception.

When and how can I RSVP?

Answer

Invitations have now gone out and you are able to RSVP directly on our website. Please scan your QR code or click the "RSVP" tab to RSVP. Enter either one person's first and last name from your party or just your last name. You will then be able to select each person to RSVP. If you see "guest" please fill out their first and last name & meal preferences as well. If you need any help, please reach out to us!

Should I bring a gift to your destination wedding?

Answer

Since you’re traveling for our wedding, making the trip is a gift in itself — physical gifts are absolutely not necessary! If you do choose to browse our wedding registry, any gifts will be shipped directly to our home address through Zola and Amazon. We also have a Newlywed cash fund you can contribute to on this website.

What are your plans the week of the Wedding? Will you be around all weekend?

Answer

We do both still work the week leading up to the wedding but will be in Tampa setting up a few days before and cleaning up after the wedding. We are heading on our honeymoon that same weekend.
