Truly we started out as coworkers, That turned into best friends. In January of 2020 I met Jacob at Jimmy John’s. I was starting in as his 4th Assistant Manager and somehow we bonded over being outcasts. This isn’t the typical love story though… we were both in very different places of our lives, with completely different people. Life had a weird way of bringing us together, after a year of being strictly friends.
Somehow a long the way, Our son made an appearance. With Golden Blonde Hair and Hazel/Brown Eyes. He made our (Family) feel full. Of course, This was not planned. Or in order of how we wanted to do things. But having our first son makes planning this wedding (Or actually the ring bearer part) easier! We're Excited to be able to have a part of both of us in the wedding.
I'm not sure if anyone else has this story, But I still remember the day I knew that Jake was the person I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. Traveled out of state to visit one of his long time friends, And he looked off of the mountain then back at me with this smile... Like it was the first time he ever saw me. Somehow that one glance he did was enough to make me feel safe. I want to look at those beautiful blue eyes for ever.
As you could imagine, It was a very sweet and "Jake" way to propose. I always told him I wanted a picture of the moment.... Or to at least make sure my nails were done for the occasion. He made sure that to the outside eye, It was exactly how I wanted it to be. But It was actually the exact opposite. I had just gotten home from work and changed into my night time clothes. When I came out of the bathroom Jake asked me to come over and give him a hug. When I did he whispered in my ear "Hey, I Have a question for you..." Not knowing where it was going I jumped into bed and asked him what he wanted. Not 5 Secnds later he was already jumping back out of bed and grabbing something out of the closet, Ran to my bedside and put a box in front of me. "I was going to ask you to turn off the light but you rolled over instead. Will you marry me?" Of course the first thing out of my mouth was "Are you being serious?'" Because I had no clue he would do it this soon. Not to say I didn't want him too. More like, This son of a gun didn't even let me go get my nails done beforehand so I could gloat about how someone loves me!
Well, If you're looking at this page then I assume you're considering RSVP'ing to this thing... So I guess we'll see how the hell this thing will come together.
