Sometimes love finds you when you least expect it. For us, it was at the German American Festival. Jake was volunteering with the wrestling team, selling tickets, while Kalissa was reluctantly convinced by a friend to go. What felt like an ordinary night, quickly turned into something unforgettable when our paths crossed for the very first time. God had big plans for us, together. Just a few weeks later, we went on our first date, and it felt like we had known each other forever. From that night on, everything fell into place. What began as a chance encounter has become our greatest adventure, our greatest blessing and we can’t wait to begin the next chapter together as husband and wife!
