Do I get a plus one?
Answer
Unfortunately due to our venue's guest limit, we're unable to accommodate a plus one for everyone at the moment. If you have a question about this please feel free to text Kevin or Carly!

Can we bring our kids to the wedding?
Answer
Although we love all of your children, we're having an adult-only wedding. We hope you're still able to join us to help celebrate our marriage (and enjoy a kid-free night)!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
Please arrive to the venue no earlier than 4:30pm and no later than 4:45pm. For those staying at the Courtyard by Marriott or Holiday Inn Express & Suites (Mount Arlington), the shuttle busses will be arriving at the hotel at 4:00pm and leaving promptly at 4:15pm.

Do you have any other hotel recommendations?

We have a room block at the Courtyard by Marriott Rockaway-Mt. Arlington for all of our guests. To book online, please use our group booking link: https://bit.ly/KalisIrving2024 . You can also call their Reservations Department at 1-800-817-3251 and request to get the "Kalis Irving Wedding" room block rate. We recommend requesting an early check-in, especially for those arriving on the 18th. Over flow rooms have also been reserved at the hotel across the street (Holiday Inn Express & Suites (Mount Arlington)) in case the first hotel reaches capacity.

What do I do if the Courtyard Marriott is sold out and I wanted to stay there?
Answer
First we suggest calling the hotel if you're having trouble via the booking link. Then if they confirm they are sold out, we suggest booking a room at the Holiday Inn Express and Suites (it is across the street) if you want to secure a room for the weekend now. Rooms at the Courtyard Marriott may become available in September or a month out from our wedding, so you can try calling the Courtyard Marriott at that point if you really want to stay there instead. The Holiday Inn Express and Suites is just a 5 minute walk from the Courtyard Marriott - so don't stress if you did not get a room at the Courtyard Marriott! We will be providing transportation from both of these hotels to our wedding venue.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?
Answer
Yes we will be providing transportation from the Courtyard by Marriott Rockaway-Mt. Arlington and the Holiday Inn Express & Suites (Mount Arlington) to our venue and back to the hotels after the reception. The shuttle will arrive at 4:00pm and leave promptly at 4:15pm. Shuttles back to the hotel will start at 10:30pm.

What is the dress code for the wedding?
Answer
Please dress in formal attire. For example, woman should wear midi or floor length dresses and men should wear a suit and tie. We are planning to get married outside (reception will be indoors) so plan for attire you'll feel comfortable in!

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?
Answer
If you are traveling to the area the night before, we'd love for you to join us for welcome drinks after our rehearsal dinner. If you plan on coming to welcome drinks please let us know so we can plan accordingly!

If I'm coming to welcome drinks, what should I wear?
Answer
Welcome drinks will be semi-formal. Feel free to dress up a more casual outfit or wear what you would wear to a work or cocktail event. The bridal party will be on the more formal side.
