We were set up on a blind date by our two friends for a school dance! We both decided we didn't want to make a fool of ourselves at the dance, so we planned to hang out before to get to know each other. Thankfully we both loved video games because our first date was in sweats and playing Super Smash Bros on the Wii. Eventually after all of that hard work, we got hungry and made a midnight run to Red Robin where Mitch and Tanner shared food, and me and Tatum watched!
The way that I looked at it (before knowing the behind the scenes), I basically planned my own proposal. I had been planning for us to go to the Oktoberfest with our friend Teddy (since we all know how great of a texter Mitch is). Come to find out later, he only made me think I was the one planning this trip with our friend, when really they had their own plan in store! So we get there and are having a fantastic time roaming around, eating food, etc! Then we talk about possibly taking the lift up to the peak of the mountain to sight see. It costed to take the lift, so I was hesitant saying that I was okay if we didn't go up there. So Mitch started urging me saying, "no, I really think we should go." Needless to say, I had no idea he was about to propose! Now we are up on the tip top of this mountain just taking in the scenery when Teddy pulls out his fancy camera to take photos of the view (or so I thought) when we all walk to the edge of this mountain top and Mitch gets down on his knee! I blurted "YES!!" and couldn't hug him fast enough! It only took him 5 years to finally ask!
