Where will the ceremony and reception take place?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 5pm outside in the garden on the Homewood property. After the ceremony there will be a cocktail hour outside as well. The reception will be held inside in the Great Room, but the entire venue is ours for the night so guests are free to explore the rooms inside!

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes! There are 200 parking spots available at Homewood. However the venue is located in the Montford District neighborhood about 1 mile outside of Downtown Asheville, so there should be plenty of Uber or Lyft services available.

Is there transportation?

Answer

There will be a (47) person shuttle bus from downtown. Pickup is 3:35pm-3:50pm at Hilton Garden Inn, and then 4:05pm-4:20pm at the Cambria Hotel (Haywood Park Hotel is approximately 3 minute walk to Cambria for pick up). The shuttle will go to the venue and back to these two stops after the wedding for anyone who would like/need transportation. There are also ride shares (Uber/Lyft) available.

Can I take photos/videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We want to have an unplugged ceremony! Meaning please don’t use your cell phone/take any photos or videos during the ceremony. We have an amazing photographer for that :) . However please feel free to take as many photos or videos during the reception!

What is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

The RSVP deadline is July 4, 2022 to ensure that you have plenty of time to book travel and accommodation, and we have time to adjust things on our side. You can RSVP online right here on the website. Thanks for understanding!

Can I bring a plus one?

We ask that you only bring a plus one if they are specified on your save the date/formal invitation!

Because Asheville is a popular tourist destination + it is a holiday weekend we definitely recommend making any restaurant/activity reservations that you want to do while in town as soon as possible as things book quickly!
