The restaurant associated with our wedding venue and one of the main reasons we chose Gibbet Hill! Enjoy a fabulous lunch or dinner on the same grounds of our venue overlooking the rolling hills and roaming cows. (Get the burger and thank us later!) Opens at 12PM on weekends. A 7 minute walk or short drive from the Inn.
Groton Publick House
A casual spot to grab lunch, dinner or drinks! An impressive craft beer menu and a great patio overlooking the golf course makes this a lovely spot to spend an afternoon. Opens at 12PM. 2 minute drive from the Inn. Not suitable for walking.

Harvard General Store
Charming New England general store offering grocery and gift store items, wine and beer, a bakery, and a restaurant and coffee bar with breakfast and lunch. Open at 9AM. About a 15 minute drive from the Inn. FUN FACT: In 2018, the Harvard General Store was transformed for the filming of Greta Gerwig's adaption of Little Women. With the story filmed entirely in Massachusetts for authenticity, Harvard and many nearby sites played a special role. The beautiful second floor event space was the set for the dress shop scenes in which Meg purchases fine fabric for a special dress. In the park between the General Store and the neighboring Harvard Congregational Church, several building facades were erected to create the set for downtown Concord.

Bancroft's Castle at Gibbet Hill
Hiking trail up Gibbet Hill ending at Bancroft's castle ruins. The hike is easy and beginner level, about 10 minutes to complete. A 7 minute walk from the Inn.
Luina Greine Farm
An alpaca farm with great activities including: a tour of the farm operation, feeding the alpacas and mini donkeys, walking through the expansive apple orchard and more! Opens at 10AM. An 18 minute walk or 2 minute drive.
Autumn Hills Orchard
Authentic working apple orchard located on 3 rolling drumlin hills with an incredible view. Pick-Your-Own apples and seasonal fruit! A 5 minute drive from the Inn.
Carlson Orchards
An excellent way to spend the day! Apple orchard offering apple picking, fresh blueberries, raspberries and peaches. A hard cider taproom, warm apple cider and flatbread pizzas. Opens at 9AM daily. About a 20 minute drive from the Inn.
Hollis Hills Farm
Gorgeous farm with apple picking, an ice cream stand, restaurant, cocktails, live music, retail store and sugar house. About a 25 minute drive from the Inn.
Salem, Massachusetts
Located on the north coast of Massachusetts above Boston, Salem Massachusetts is famous for it's 1692 witch trials. Rich with history, museums and tours, Salem makes an incredible day-trip especially in the spooky month of October. If you happen to be a Hocus Pocus fan, you'll get to see multiple different filming locations from the iconic Halloween film. Stop off at Finz for a lovely seafood lunch or dinner!
