On Monday, April 11th, 2022, we matched. Kevin had spent six months looking for “just friendship,” and Kalie had spent three months hoping to find someone who liked K-pop. Some time passes for this couple as they continue living their lives, and they have a new furbaby, Jelly Belly, their pride and joy. The idea of getting Jelly began on a random trip to NRH2O: while drifting in the lazy river, Kalie turned in her float to Kevin and said, "I want a cat," to which he replied, "...Me too." About five minutes later, they left the park and went to an animal shelter, where they found their baby sleeping. They played with her, got to know her, and took her home. On November 19th, 2024, everything changed. Kevin enlisted in the Army. Suddenly, time felt shorter. Every moment mattered more. For three long months, love looked like handwritten letters and one short phone call every Sunday. Until July 30th, 2025.
