We recommend arriving 15-30 minutes before the ceremony starts to allow time for seating.
Our wedding will be semi-formal. We encourage you to dress up, but feel comfortable!
For the ceremony: The more the merrier! Anyone who wants to celebrate with us is welcome. For the reception: Due to limited seating, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited. If your invitation includes a plus-one, you will see it indicated.
Please let us know any dietary restrictions when you RSVP and we will do our best to accommodate them.
Yes, children are welcome to join in the celebration. We will be offering a child friendly meal of burgers and fries for them at the reception.
The church has a nursery / child zone located at the back of the sanctuary. You may watch from there and still enjoy the ceremony while keeping your loved ones comfortable.
No, children are welcome, but not necessary. Use your discretion and do what works best for you.
No, alcohol will not be served at the wedding. Sorry, but these are the church rules. We will have a variety of non-alcoholic beverages at the wedding for people to enjoy.
Yes, there is free parking at the church. Please use the back parking lot.
Our ceremony and reception will both be held at Fort Gary Mennonite Brethren church, so no additional transportation will be necessary.
We kindly ask that you refrain from taking photos or videos at the ceremony. We have a team dedicated to capturing all the special moments, and we want you to be present with us at this special time.
Yes, we will have an open mic. If you would like to say a few words you are welcome to, but please use your best judgement and behave respectfully.
Yes! Feel free to capture the speeches, dancing, or whatever floats your fancy. We just ask that you send us a copy afterwards so we can have a nice collection to look back on and enjoy the different perspectives.
