Kindly, we ask our guests to dress semi-formal for our celebration. Our wedding will have a coastal, relaxed-elegant feel, inspired by the natural beauty of Santa Barbara. We encourage soft, airy tones such as light blues, warm beiges, sandy neutrals, and muted green hues—colors that reflect the ocean, palm trees, and coastal landscape. Think effortlessly polished, and breezy**, while still comfortable for a day by the coast. Most importantly, please wear something you feel confident and comfortable in—we’re just so happy to celebrate with you.
The ceremony will be outdoors, followed by an outdoor reception dinner. We recommend keeping the coastal weather in mind and bringing a light layer for the evening if needed.
Santa Barbara is very easy to get around. You’re welcome to rent a car if you prefer, though many places—especially near the beach and downtown—are within close distance and walkable. Rideshare services like Uber and Lyft are also readily available throughout the area.
We’ll all meet at the Santa Barbara County Courthouse grounds at 3:30 PM. From there, we’ll have a short, intimate outdoor ceremony. Following the ceremony, we’ll head to Convivo for a celebratory dinner from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. More detailed timing and arrival information will be shared as the day gets closer—we can’t wait to celebrate with you!
We’ve chosen to keep our wedding day very intimate, celebrating with a small group of our closest family and friends. Please know this decision was not personal—we simply felt called to keep this moment small and meaningful. We’re so excited to share that we’ll be hosting a larger celebration later in the year, and we can’t wait to celebrate with everyone then.
