Mother of the Bride
My mom has been such an amazing person in my life. She has been my caregiver, volleyball coach, biggest fan, and best friend. She raised me to love everyone no matter how they live their lives. When I was on my mission, my mom was the biggest reason I remained strong and persevered. My mom is a big reason why I am pursuing a teaching degree; her influence in her students' lives has been inspiring. She has done so much for me and for others and I will never be able to repay her! She and my dad have set such a high expectation for love and I am so glad to have found someone who meets that expectation!
Father of the Bride
My dad has been my biggest supporter all of my life. When I played basketball, he went to the gym and helped me with my shooting form. When I started golfing, he got me my own set and taught me the correct form. My dad is happiest when he is fishing (pictured) or when he is teasing us kids. My dad is not only the best father, but he has been an amazing husband for my mom. He went with my mom to every doctor appointment when she had cancer, cleaned around the house when my mom did not get home until 8 pm, services her car when it is due, and shows her unconditional love.
Mother of the Groom
My mom is such an amazing woman! She is a big reason I participated in band in high school. My mom can play the flute like nobody's business! She is also a big part of helping start Fruitland's musical theater program (which I participated in). My mom has a love for everyone she interacts with and never passes any judgment on others. She also has raised me to be kind and generous towards others.
Father of the Groom
My dad and I have always had a good relationship. I think it helps that I am his only son haha. He is the reason I am such a big Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan; he served his mission there and taught me to love them (probably more) than he does. If you are ever around us at the same time, we are either talking about the Bucs and their season or the Utah Jazz. My dad is so selfless and is always willing to help others and expect nothing in return.
Matron of Honor
Not only did I pick Jozie to be my matron of honor because she is my sister, but I also picked her because she is my best friend. I love that Jozie and I are so close in age (14 months to be exact) that we grew up together. I am so glad I got to be roommates with Jozie last year before we both got married. She has always been there if I need to cry, which is a lot, or for advice. Even though I am technically older than Jozie, I look up to her in so many ways!
Maid of Honor
Zoe and I were in choir together our freshman year of high school and it was a blast! However, we became best friends in our sophomore year when we skipped seminary to talk and chill (sorry mom and dad). Zoe has always been the friend that I can turn to for anything! We do not always have to be in communication with each other to stay close. Whenever we are reunited, we pick up right where we left off. A big reason I picked Zoe as my Maid of Honor is because she knows how to party!
