Hotel
A hotel block has been reserved for our guests at the Surfside Oceanfront Beach Hotel. Please mention the Majoros-Hetterich wedding at booking. . To reserve a room, follow the below instructions: - Call reception at 843.238.4444 - Inform the receptionist that you request a room associated with the Majoros - Hetterich Wedding, that has blocked rooms between 2-7 April 2025 - Convey the dates you intend to stay - Indicate which room type you prefer among these two options: ◦ 2 Queen Beds with Balcony Oceanview ◦ 1 King Bed with Balcony Oceanview As a reminder, the hotel block must be booked by 2/28/2025 to lock in our rate.
Travel Note
If you would prefer some extra space, there are plenty of Airbnb and Vrbo options in the Surfside beach area at all price points.
Shuttle

A shuttle bus will be provided for guests to transport them to and from Brookgreen Gardens. The first shuttle will pick up guests from Surfside Beach Oceanfront Hotel at 4:00pm ET. If you wish to have more flexibility, we recommend driving to and from the venue as there is free parking and Ubers will not be accessible when leaving the venue.
Travel Note
Follow signs for the Majoros & Hetterich wedding to find the correct parking lot. Brookgreen Gardens volunteers and signage will direct guests to the ceremony space. The wedding and ceremony will take place at Brookgreen Gardens regardless of weather. We will update this website with details the week of the wedding when we have a better sense of the forecast.
