Please dress comfortably for September outdoor weather. We suggest semi-formal or between formal and causal attire. Keep in mind that the grounds might be inconvenient to wander in heels or delicate shoes since the location is on a farm.
Please park in the barnyard or along the driving lanes on the property. Do NOT park on the side of the highway. If there is no room to park, let us know and we can direct you to a field the venue has set aside for any additional parking as needed.
We will relocate to the barn loft. It is large enough to accommodate a large gathering and is conveniently close to the original wedding site by the willow tree.
We plan for the ceremony to start at 4:00pm and the proceedings to last for 20-30 minutes. Afterwards, we invite you to enjoy yourselves mingling, playing games, and snacking until food is served at 5:00pm while the wedding party takes photos. Keep in mind this is not a strict schedule; these times will likely vary on that day.
We know a few guests have some dietary restrictions, so we will try to have gluten-free and dairy-free options available. Please reach out if you have any food allergies, and we will do our best to make accommodations. The main dishes for the reception will be cooked on a smoker, so expect BBQ options with sides like chips, salad, mac & cheese, beans, and the like. Other goodies and sweets like cookies, cupcakes, and more will be set out for dessert - and yes, there will be a cake! Non-alcoholic drinks include water, soda, juice, coffee, and lemonade. If you have any suggestions for food or drinks, please respond with those ideas on the RSVP.
Plan to have cash on hand in case you'd like something from the bar outside the non-alcoholic beverages we are offering.
Yes! If you are having trouble finding it, just ask someone in the wedding party and we will happily lead you to it.
There is a designated smoking area that we will direct you to, but please check with us or any of the wedding party if you can't find it or in case the venue has updated their regulations. We are responsible for clean-up after the event and want to leave the property as it was before. Additionally, we are liable for any open flame or fire hazards on the premises, so please be courteous and keep that in mind if you choose to smoke.
We are adding this question because we figure it will pop up eventually since the venue is on a farm with cute little goats and sheep. To be on the safe side, we encourage you to respect the animals' space and enjoy them from a distance and refrain from petting or feeding them.
Feel free to explore a little bit, but please keep close to the area surrounding the barnyard and willow tree. If you have children, we ask to always have an adult supervising them if they'd like to stretch their legs and check out the grounds as well.
