Matron of Honor
The friendship between CK and the Bride is unique. Other than being dance instructors at the same studio, they both did not know the other. However that did not stop Christiana from calling Kalia one afternoon to share a dream she had of the future and success of their friendship. Although it may seem bizarre (and border line creepy), if you know Christiana it is not out of character nor creepy in the slightest. The two are known to have regular sleepovers, dog birthday parties, daily "just because" phone calls, and became each others voice of reason.
Best Man
Taylor and I met at good ol Tuscany Hills Elementary School in Kindergarten. Tay invited me to his birthday party that year and we have been brothers ever since. Whether it was family vacations, Little League Games, or first days of school we have aways done everything together. It goes without saying but no matter what we are doing when Taylor and David are together it is pure comedy and jokes the entire time.
Bridesmaid
Co-Captains for their college dance team, Kalia and Alexis naturally were inseparable in college. They bonded over Sushi to-go orders, late night choreography sessions, and an abundance of inside jokes. In Kalia's phone Alexis is under "ButtThread" -- the autocorrect version of "butt head" --- and it stuck. Alexis and Kalia were forever each other's buttthreads.
Groomsman
I met Alex for the first time when I moved away from home and lived in Chicago. We played for the greatest Junior team of all time, the Chicago Hitmen. I was lucky enough for the Murphy family to let me move in with them and become my "billet family." They were the first people to teach me that my little Ford Mustang was not made for a blizzard in the Midwest Winters (haha).. From the long training days of summer to playing badminton in the front yard, those were some of the best days of our lives.
Bridesmaid
Arielle, a woman from the Bronx, JLO look alike, and keeper of many talents. Her and Kalia built their friendship on the basketball court-- not making free throws, but tossing T-shirts. They continued their friendship off the court through their love for Dr. Pepper, country music, and road trips. Ari recently moved to California to pursue her dreams of being a dancer and in the early stages she was David and Kalia's roommate.
Groomsman
I met Chris Porter while playing college hockey at AIC in beautiful Springfield, MA. We were roommates in the beautiful Hines 522. I will never forget the college nights of Ports going to bed at approximately 8:30 PM sharp every night and ripping up the dance floor at Alumni. We were lucky enough to finish our pro hockey career playing together on the Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs.
Bridesmaid
The positive light in any room - Gabs and Kalia naturally became best friends on the parquet in Boston as rookies. They shared the back corner on the court, a highly fought after spot (not really), and would enjoy a coffee and snickerdoodle cookie before every game (game day tradition). The friendship grew through miss-understood lyrics, Tito's twerk bar (Her Jeep), and spray tanning parties.
Groomsman
I met "Hendo" while playing college hockey at AIC. It took all of about 3 days for the three of us to be inseparable. I will never forget the Mario Party Nights and NBA 2k Drafts that we took way too seriously... We may go down as the best 2-3 batting line up in intramural AIC softball history. There is no person I would have rather been healthy scratched with our Freshman and Sophomore years.
Bridesmaid
This friendship evolved during their rookie season with the Los Angeles Rams. Taking trips to Hawaii and London, within a short 3 month time period these two naturally found themselves together often. There is a special bond created with people who share the same passion, and this is no exception for Jackie and Kalia. The love they share for sarcasm, dance, and rollerblading bonded these two for life.
Groomsman
Derek Dixon aka D-Dad is my first cousin/ best buddy. He may be 6'4 with red hair, but yes we are first cousins (haha). My favorite memories with Derek are when he was old enough to drive and picking me up every single weekend to grab Panda Express in his old Ford Explorer. You will catch us on the weekends on the golf course shooting well north of 100 but always having a blast.
Bridesmaid
Some would say they were rivals in College coming from opposing dance teams, but when they both found themselves in Boston cheering for the same NBA team they quickly realized the inevitable friendship through sleepovers, bar hopping, and couch tears watching Super Bowl halftimes.
Groomsman
Zak and I also met at Tuscany Hills Elementary School in kindergarten. He lived right across the street from me so we did everything together.. As we got older that did not change; whether it was us training for hockey, eating all you can eat sushi, or jumping on the boat riding around Canyon Lake. There are way too many childhood memories growing up to pick a favorite!
Bridesmaid
Kalia's first impression of Mattie was quite funny. Never having a conversation, Mattie approached Kalia with unfathomable dance moves and a quick antidote about the weather. Kalia was extremely confused, but through practices and games grew to absolutely adore Capt'n Mattie. Their love for one another continues through carpooling and singing Car-eoke (while Kalia naps). There's no telling how far this friendship will go!
Groomsman
Nick was also part of the kindergarten crew at Tuscany Hills Elementary. When we were younger you could probably catch us trying to skateboard, paint balling, or running away from Bruce for breaking something in his yard. I have thoroughly enjoyed seeing your TV career grow with major guest appearances on Tosh.0 and Barstool Sports.
Bridesmaid
Sister of the groom - and friend of the bride, Paige and Kalia's friendship didn't happen over night. Kalia would say she was the hardest approval to gain, but once Paige learned Kalia was a champion hair braider she realize she had the potential to be her Alli. Soon after that they both learned the love one another had for David and then lunch dates were arranged, movie nights were a thing, and Keto Diet partners became the norm.
Groomsman
I met Steven in high school while attending Elsinore School. We played on the JV baseball team together and had way too much fun. Although he did cheat for "best dressed" in high school I forgave him and we still have remained best buds. There is no other guy in the world who could convince me to go sky diving besides this guy!
Bridesman
Started as strangers in a large room with lots of people, but once the 2019 Rams Team was announced the friendship blossomed. The mutual respect for each others talent developed the deepest of friendships thriving through Game Day Carpools, Starbucks Runs, and holder of VIP iHOP Memberships.
Groomsman
Andrew Willis AKA the life of the party, was my first ever friend. We grew up in Tuscany Hills on the same street and were only 8 days apart.. Whether it was New Year's Eve parties at Vals or the Canyon Lake Phillies we have way too many memories to just pin point a few. Not by choice, but he has also been recently been hired as my full-time golf coach..
Bridesmaid
Love at first sight you could say... Riley and Kalia met while on tour overseas representing their NFL teams at military bases. Star-crossed lovers, from different parts of the country; they spent 10 unbelievable days together visiting Guam, Tokyo, and Australia giving back to the members of our armed forces, and in doing so created a "Can't live without" friendship.
Groomsman
Broc and I have been best buddies since Middle School! I can't count the amount of times I have had no idea how to fix something and had to call Broc... This guy knows how to do and fix everything. Some of my favorite memories were growing up running around Canyon Lake. There was a 100% chance you were going to find us on the boat on the weekends growing up. After about 500 attempted times Broc still has not successfully taught me how to drive/ part a boat.

Jacob Porter another Tuscany Hills Elementary School, collared shirt club member. Very similar to Broc, Jake literally knows how to do and fix anything and everything. In high school there was not a weekend that went by that we were not together. Some of my favorite memories with Jake are the old camp outs we had in the motorhome and the summer boat days you were always the captain for. Best Boat Captain in the league!
