Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

You should receive a formal invitation in early September. Once received, please RSVP as soon as possible but no later than October 15th.

Question

Will transportation to the ceremony be provided?

Answer

Yes! There will be shuttles from the Newport Marriott Hotel & Spa AND from Hammetts Hotel to the New York Yacht Club. Boarding is at 3:20pm on December 14th at each location. Additionally, shuttles will transport guests at the end of the night from the New York Yacht Club to our afterparty location (Fastnet Pub), or back to the Hammetts / Marriott if you prefer.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

If you are planning to take one of the shuttles that we are providing from downtown Newport, you will arrive approximately 20 minutes prior to our ceremony. If you plan to drive, we ask that you arrive by 3:30pm so that you have time to park and walk down to Station 10. Our ceremony will begin at 4:00pm. We do not recommend relying on an Uber/Lyft as there are a limited number of drivers operating in the off-season.

What is the dress code for the ceremony / reception?

Black-tie optional (tuxedo or dark suit and formal dress/gown)

Will the ceremony/reception be indoors?

Answer

Yes! All events will be indoors. If you would like to venture outside during our reception you are welcome to. Weather permitting, we will have an outdoor bar in operation.
