Where is the wedding taking place?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will take place at Pavilion on Crystal Lake in Middletown CT.

What time is the ceremony?

Answer

4:00 pm. We recommend you arrive at least 15 minutes prior to ensure seating.

What is the dress code? What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is cocktail attire. Wear something you’re comfortable in—button-up shirts, long flowy dresses, or whatever brings you joy. Our wedding colors are cream, terracotta, olive and navy.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

We are hopeful that the ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside but obviously this depends on the weather! The reception will be indoors.

What should I expect after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the immediate family and wedding party will be taking pictures. Guests will walk to cocktail hour where snacks and drinks will be flowing. Dinner will be served around 6 pm, with dancing to follow

Will transportation be provided? Is there easy parking at the venue?

Answer

We are not providing any formal transportation for the events, but our ceremony and reception are taking place at the same location. There is ample parking for those who feel comfortable driving, and Uber is a great option for those who don’t. The venue does allow for overnight parking if needed. Please stay safe and default to a ride service or carpooling if you plan to drink.

How do I RSVP?

Answer

We sure hope you’ll be able to join us for your special day. With your invitation, there is an RSVP card with a QR code that will allow you to scan with your phone and allow you to RSVP on our website. You can also visit the RSVP section of this website.

Can I bring my kids? Will there be a babysitter?

Answer

Since we have huge extended families, we’ve chosen to limit our guest list to 21 and over, and we hope you understand. Childcare will not be provided.

Can I bring my partner?

Answer

We are at capacity with our venue which means we are sadly unable to accommodate additional guests. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. If you have any questions, please reach out.

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

Yes! We have a block of hotels at the Hilton Garden Inn in Wallingford. Please go to https://www.hilton.com/en/attend-my-event/ripatufanowedding2023/ or call and ask for the Ripa-Tufano wedding when booking. There are also ample Air B&B options located close to the venue!

Yes! Absolutely!

What type of food and drink will be served during the cocktail hour and reception?

Answer

We’ll be serving charcuterie and ten passed hors d’oeuvres during cocktail hour, followed by a delicious dinner, and of course dessert. Please see your RSVP card for dinner menu options.

I have dietary restrictions, what’s the best way to communicate that with you?

Answer

We definitely want to make sure you enjoy your time and meal on our wedding day, please let us know when you RSVP about your dietary needs.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! There will be soda, beer, wine and mixed drinks served. Shots are not allowed per the venue.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

We love photos! We do ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony, we’d like that time to be unplugged. For the rest of the wedding, we encourage guests to post pictures using our wedding hashtag #ToastingtheTufanos so we can see them, too!
